PIENAAR, MPUMALANGA – Police in Mpumalanga have made a significant breakthrough in connection with a deadly shooting that took place at a liquor outlet in Pienaar, just outside Nelspruit, in the early hours of Saturday, January 11, 2025.

A 39-year-old male suspect was arrested on Sunday night, January 12, 2025, in Pienaar. During the arrest, police confiscated a firearm along with 13 live rounds of ammunition. The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.
