The Heinous Crime
On January 2, 2022, the Mahlangu couple lured Sithebe to their home in Soshanguve under false pretenses. Once there, they brutally murdered him, staged the crime scene, and set his body ablaze inside the house.

The court found the couple guilty of premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and three counts of fraud.
Sentencing and Public Outcry
The couple will appear in court today for the mitigation of their sentence, which will determine their fate.
