Bloemspruit police have arrested a 20-year-old woman following a fatal domestic dispute that occurred in Grassland on January 6, 2025. The police were called to a house in Grassland around 19:10, where they found a 55-year-old woman lying in a pool of blood. Emergency personnel were summoned, but the woman was declared dead at the scene.
According to reports, the deceased was allegedly stabbed once in the chest by her daughter after a verbal argument escalated. The daughter was arrested on the scene and is set to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court soon, facing charges of murder. The circumstances leading to the stabbing are under investigation.
