In response to a report about a vehicle possibly transporting stolen cables, officers from Dube SAPS, along with Gauteng Traffic Wardens, quickly took action. They identified a Toyota Cressida that matched the description and appeared to be carrying the suspected cables.
When officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, the driver accelerated, sparking a high-speed chase. The pursuit ended when the vehicle overturned, leading to the arrest of one suspect. The stolen cables were recovered and seized as evidence. The arrested individual is currently hospitalized under police supervision.
