The Devland/Eldos Charity Summer Festival 2024 promises to be an unforgettable night of entertainment and hope as the community comes together to support underprivileged children. Scheduled for Saturday, November 30th, at Freedom Park Secondary School, the festival will feature a show-stopping performance lineup led by Emtee Da Hustler, along with some of South Africa's top artists, including Murumba Pitch, Mellow & Sleazy, and many more.
Organized by Sanza Cares Foundation, in partnership with Loving Classroom South Africa and House of Amapiano, this annual event has been changing lives for over five years by providing children with school uniforms and stationery.
Interview with Sanza Radebe: A Vision of Care
Q: Sanza, what inspired you to be part of this initiative?
Sanza Radebe, founder of Sanza Cares Foundation, shared: “The truth is, no child should feel left out or ashamed because they lack something as basic as a uniform or stationery. For years, I’ve seen children in Soweto struggle, and it just didn’t sit right with me. I started by using my own resources to help, but the need kept growing. That’s why we’re here—to ensure every child has what they need to succeed.”
Q: How has this festival grown over the years?
Sanza: “Initially, it was just a small effort—helping kids one school at a time. But as more people heard about what we were doing, it became clear we could make a bigger impact. Partnering with Loving Classroom and House of Amapiano allowed us to scale up. This year, we’re aiming to assist 10,000 children, and the festival is a major step towards that goal.”
“We’ve grown, but we still have a long way to go,” Sanza added. “This is all out-of-pocket for now, but our vision is to attract sponsors who share our commitment to uplifting our communities.”
A Night to Remember: The Entertainment Lineup
The Devland/Eldos Charity Summer Festival will feature an electric mix of musical genres, bringing together South Africa’s biggest stars. Leading the lineup is Emtee Da Hustler, whose hits and stage presence are sure to captivate the audience. Joining him are:

“This lineup isn’t just about entertainment,” Sanza said. “It’s a celebration of talent and unity, showing how music can bring us together for a greater purpose.”
Creating Hope, One Ticket at a Time
Q: How are you raising funds for the children?
Sanza: “Bongani [Shabangu, Managing Director of Loving Classroom South Africa] and I are hitting the streets every day to sell tickets. It’s tough, but it’s worth it. Each ticket sold is a step closer to our goal of helping these children feel like they belong.”
