Sekhukhune United’s Shaune Mogaila Appears in Court After Fatal Ekurhuleni Accident
Shaune Mogaila, a 29-year-old soccer player for Sekhukhune United, appeared in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court earlier today following a tragic accident in Ekurhuleni that claimed the life of a nine-year-old girl. The fatal collision occurred yesterday, and the young girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
The girl’s mother, who was also in the vehicle, is currently in ICU, fighting for her life and unaware of her daughter’s passing. A 13-year-old neighbor who was traveling with them also sustained severe injuries and remains hospitalized.
The court appearance is the first step in what may be an extensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
