Julius Malema, the leader of the EFF, recently had an interview with Clement Manyathela on SABC News.
During the interview, one of the topics that came up was Malema's connection with former EFF member Floyd Shivambu. Malema mentioned that despite Shivambu's exit, the EFF continues to prosper.
Malema expressed, "The leadership of the EFF remains unchanged. Although his departure was painful, I felt a sense of relief. I can't explain why. It felt like I had let go of a heavy burden. So, it's not always the case that unpleasant things lead to negative outcomes."
Malema also disclosed that he and Shivambu are no longer close, as their relationship was founded on a shared vision for revolution.
"I have nothing to do with him. What initially brought us together was a common purpose. We met in the struggle," Malema stated.
"What united us was a shared commitment to the revolution. What brought us together no longer exists. There's no reason for us to maintain a relationship," Malema added.
On Wednesday morning, The Siz The World team engaged in a lively conversation about the intricacies of personal relationships with colleagues or business partners, and vice versa.
