Queen Madonsela Stimulation Centre: Annual Fundraising Fun-Walk 2024
eTwatwa, City of Ekurhuleni — The Queen Madonsela Stimulation Centre for the Disabled will host its Annual Fundraising Fun-Walk on 9 December 2024. This 5km walk through eTwatwa aims to raise funds for vital care and support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Cerebral Palsy.
Founded by Sibongile Bodibe after caring for her sister with cerebral palsy, the Centre has been a pillar of support in Emaphupheni for eight years. It provides a safe, loving environment for children with disabilities, driven by a vision to expand and enhance their care.
Last year’s Fun-Walk, in partnership with the Bonamelo Melisizwe Foundation, was a success, enabling crucial facility upgrades. This year, the Centre seeks to fund the installation of a walled fence, CCTV, ramps, burglar bars, and a dedicated play area for children with autism.
