Actors Nolwazi Shange and Mzwandile Ngubeni, once a celebrated couple in the entertainment industry, have sadly decided to part ways after 13 years together.
Their love story began in 2010 on set when they first met, and Mzwandile described it as love at first sight. After six years of dating, they tied the knot in a beautiful weekend-long traditional wedding in Durban in 2016. Their union was attended by celebrities and close friends, including the late Akhumzi Jezile, Jessica Nkosi, Samkelo Ndlovu, Khaya Mthethwa, and many others.
However, a close friend has confirmed to Zimoja that Nolwazi and Mzwandile have separated. Nolwazi has since removed her wedding ring and changed her surname on social media from Ngubeni to her maiden name, Shange. In December 2023, she shared a cryptic message implying a fresh start for 2024.
While Mzwandile did not directly confirm the separation, Nolwazi has stated they are in the final stages of their divorce. She expressed sadness but emphasized their decision to separate amicably after 13 years together and with children. Nolwazi stressed that she wants the best for Mzwandile and hopes he finds love again, while she focuses on moving on and rebuilding her life. She also emphasized her commitment to protecting her family's privacy and maintaining a positive image of Mzwandile.
