Zimbabwean Couple Apprehended Following Rescue of 20 Kidnapped Children

Law enforcement successfully rescued 20 children who were being transported on a bus from Pretoria to Cape Town. The rescue operation unfolded when an alert passenger noticed the unusual behavior of the children, who remained unusually quiet throughout the journey and refrained from disembarking during breaks.

Acting swiftly on the tip-off, the police intercepted the bus during its scheduled break in Kimberley. Shockingly, investigations revealed that the children, who were unfamiliar with each other, had been victims of kidnapping.

Currently safe in a designated facility in Kimberley, the children are awaiting reunification with their families. The perpetrators, a Zimbabwean couple, have been apprehended, highlighting the crucial role of community vigilance and prompt police action in safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
