The Women's African Champions League was won by Mamelodi Sundowns for the second time, when they defeated Sporting Club Casablanca, who were making their debut, 3-0 in Ivory Coast.
Refilwe Tholakele gave the South Africans the lead at Korhogo in the 21st minute after a video assistance referee review for a handball against Aicha Samake.
Three minutes later, Boitumelo Rabale scored a second goal with a low left-footed effort from the area's perimeter that reached the bottom right corner.
With 12 minutes left, goalie Andile Dlamini heroically dove to parry an attempt from Agueicha Diarra, and Tholakele finished the score calmly from 12 yards out to keep Sundowns' clean sheet intact.
The South African team, who had won the first title in 2021 and placed second behind Moroccan team AS FAR in the previous year's second edition, won all five of their matches in the competition without giving up a goal.
Their victory follows Sundowns' men's team's victory in the first African Football League on Sunday.
