Akon has vehemently denied Suge Knight's claims regarding the alleged sexual assault incident. In response, the "I Wanna Love You" singer took to Twitter to express his disbelief, stating, "The world knows a lie when they hear it. It’s unfortunate that this man is going out like this. It’s sad and seriously embarrassing. Regardless of our history, I’m still going to be praying for him."
Knight's accusations surfaced during the first episode of his new podcast, "Collect Call," where he alleged that Akon and producer Detail sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl and her 12-year-old friend. According to Knight, the incident occurred after he invited the girls to a hotel room to meet Akon. Knight claimed that the girls returned visibly distressed, accusing Akon and Detail of raping them.
However, Akon firmly denied these allegations, urging the public to recognize the falsehood in Knight's story. Despite the accusations, Akon remains resolute in his denial, maintaining his innocence in the face of these serious claims.
