Priddy Ugly revealed that his cousin tragically lost his life two weeks ago after being fatally stabbed for refusing to hand over a cigarette. This incident occurred while he was on his way to the police station to report an earlier assault. The rapper expressed profound concern about the prevailing lawlessness in the country and urged South Africans to prioritize their safety.

2 weeks ago, my cousin was stabbed to death by some pharas for refusing to skyf them a loose draw while walking to the police station 5mins away from his home to open a case of assault for an incident that had happened earlier that day. South Ah, is a wild place. Be safe.

In a similar vein, earlier this year, Grammy-award-winning artist Zakes Bantwini experienced a tragic loss when his father, Sihlangusihle Jeffery Khanyile, passed away at the age of 65. Zakes, during an interview with Drum magazine, disclosed that he would be taking a hiatus from his gigs as he grappled with a whirlwind of emotions and lived in constant fear.
