Miss South Africa 2022 Ndavi Nokeri has formally given the crown to Natasha Joubert, the next queen.
Natasha was named Miss South Africa 2023 at the Sun Bet Arena at Time Squares Menlyn in Tshwane on Sunday, August 13th.
The 25-year-old model and businesswoman were competing in the pageant for the second time this year after new requirements for entry were imposed earlier this year.
Natasha is the first Miss South Africa to wear the brand-new crown 'Mowana, the Tree of Life,' created by Ursula Pule and her husband, Kealeboga Pule, the dynamic team behind Nungu Diamonds.
Natasha Joubert is a model and beauty queen who is well-known to many. When the Miss South Africa Organization released the Top 30, many people recognised Natasha. She was previously a Miss South Africa second runner-up in 2020 when Shudu Musida was crowned Miss South Africa.
She also represented South Africa in the Miss Universe contest in 2020. Natasha was permitted to enter the competition again, according to the Miss SA Organisation.
"Natasha wanted to enter again, and Miss South Africa Organization rules allow her to do so," said Janine Walker, a spokesman for the organisation, to The South African.
