Zikalala was shot in the early hours of Monday morning in Braamfontein by a guy claiming to be a police officer.
Last week, a video of an encounter between the two went viral on many social media sites, eventually leading to Zikalala's death.

Zikalala's ashes will be interred in Johannesburg's Westpark Cemetery.
