Manchester City beat Fulham 2-1 to leapfrog Arsenal and go top of the Premier League table.
After ten weeks out of the top spot, Manchester City is back at the top of the Premier League standings. Arsenal took the lead and set the pace, with City dropping points against Aston against Villa, Everton, and Liverpool. Still, if City maintained their quality, they could extend their signature winning streak to just one. I always felt that I could embark on one. They are on an eight-game winning streak in the Premier League and are unbeaten in their last 11 matches.
Their ruthlessness towards the end of the season contrasts with Arsenal, who have not won a single game in the last four Premier League games. Mikel Arteta's side could, of course, return to the top with a win over Chelsea on Tuesday, but City have one game left to face their North London title rivals.
