Ramaphosa and the ANC dare De Ruyter to go to the police!

President Cyril Ramaphosa was asked to respond to De Ruyter’s controversial television interview during a media briefing while hosting Ugandan Andre De Ruyter in a TV interview last week exposed the corruption happening at Eskom and implicated the ANC's senior members involved in the demise of the power utility. 

De Ruyter is being asked to provide proof of his allegations to avoid facing legal action. 

Ramaphosa stated that: "We were most concerned about his utterances and what immediately came to mind to me was that André de Ruyter being the person at the level of group chief executive officer, should have gone to any of our institutions with the information that he purports to have because those are institutions that are independent, where there won’t be any form of interference, diversion, blockage or even any form of subterfuge. " 

Ramaphosa went on to add: "I do firmly believe that anyone who has such information should go to the entities and institutions that deal with these issues and have investigative authority and power. " 

As such, it is believed that De Ruyter's explosive interview was very controversial and seemed to be a cover-up for his incompetence in running the country's power utility. 

 De Ruyter is urged to come forward with his allegations. He must come clean and oust the people who are involved in this corruption.
