Refiloe 'Fifi Cooper' Moeketsi, a hip-hop sensation, spoke with Slikour and discussed how she got the famous reality TV role.
Fifi stated that one phone call from the To Love & Hip Hop SA altered her life last year.
Here are her direct words:
"They actually called me, I think around last year August. They asked me to come through to the studio just to you know young interview, and I was like you know let me just try it out because I believe that everything happens for a reason and God’s timing is perfect for me."
“When they game that call, I knew I was gonna be part of the cast because there’s definitely something different that I’m bringing to the industry as a whole. Been Motswako First Lady for like 15 years it’s a lot you know,” added the hip hop star.
“So it was quite weird but I was super excited because I’ve always been a fan of Love And Hip Hop, so the fact that out of the USA it came to South Africa for me it’s a big deal, I needed to be part of it.”
“The reason why I said God’s timing is always perfect is because Love And Hip Hop came at a time when I was ready to drop.”
“I’ve been working on the album for almost two years, and I have about 46 tracks that I have recorded, so I need to cut down to fifteen or sixteen for the album. So there is a lot of work that I have."
