According to HMR News Updates, three individuals were detained for interrogation over the weekend in Belhar on the Cape Flats.

It was still unconfirmed if the reports were accurate. However, multiple media companies have received intel confirming these three suspects are under police custody.

There is a video circulating on Social Media showing three men being dragged and pushed by the police in Erica Square shopping centre in Belhar

Based on a report from TimesLive,  CCTV, along with rigorous investigative work, have played a critical part in the arrest of three persons suspected of being involved in the February 10 murder of Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and long-time companion Tebello "Tibz" Motsoane in Durban.

The CCTV footage of the shooting that was leaked onto social media was blurry compared to the original downloaded footage from Wish that police had in their possession. In the actual footage, the cops could zoom in quite significantly.

The neighborhood is well-known as the 27s number gang's domain.

Col. Robert Netshiunda, a KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson, refused to confirm that the suspects were in police custody, stating there was "no update on the AKA situation."

According to a source close to the inquiry, a team of more than ten detectives has been deployed to investigate the matter.

The getaway car used in the murders of Forbes and Motsoane was recovered by police early last month.

The car, a white Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan with a broken tail light, was recognized by investigators using CCTV video from private properties along Florida Road. The automobile was found in Mayville, Durban.

Before the suspects were apprehended, key police officers convened in Johannesburg. The guys are expected to be taken to Durban to face charges.
